Refund policy


Gertie’s Goodies does not accept change of mind refunds for your purchases or bookings. Due to the perishable nature of our products your order cannot be returned.

Due to the nature of our business, we rely on products being available. When an item is not available, we reserve the right to substitute products  with another item similar to the unavailable item quality and value. Pictures on our website and social media are for illustrative purposes only, and our grazing boxes/food options/catering  may contain items differing from the picture and description of the product. 


Upon delivery if you feel your order is incorrect or damaged contact Gertie’s Goodies  immediately so we can evaluate the issue at hand. 




Delivery Date, Times & Locations
Orders placed via our website are processed within 12-24 hours, then delivered at the time and date requested at checkout. We cannot guarantee a specific delivery time, if you require your order for a specific time you need to contact us PRIOR to checking out to confirm availability.

During peak and busy periods you delivery may occur outside the guided times requested at checkout. No refund will be issued for late delivery. 

No changes can be made to date, time or order contents within 48 hours of delivery or pick up. 




Need to cancel? 


Due to the nature and size of our  business we work on a 'first in best dressed model,  this means that securing your event it’s likely that we have turned back other requests for the same date. Because of this, Gertie’s has a firm cancellation policy.

Postponing your event will be at Gertie’s Goodies discretion and availability. 

 

Catering and Grazing Table Bookings~

If canceling or requesting postponement 30+ days prior to your requested date or event a full refund of the amount paid* or alternatively credit will be given to reschedule or use on other products. 


If cancelling or requesting a postponement notified between 7-30 days Gertie’s Goodies will retain the full amount paid and issue a credit note.


Any notifications for cancellations or rescheduling made between 73 hours prior and 7 days prior, a refund minus the deposit can be made or alternatively a full credit note for rescheduling  or purchase of other products can be made. 

Gertie’s Goodies will retain full amount paid for cancellations with less than 48 business hours notice.

In cases when an invoice has not yet been issued, an invoice will be issued and liable to pay the full amount. 


 

 

Grazing box, catering boxes and sweet treat orders -  may receive a full credit* or reschedule at Gertie's Goodies discretion and availability when more than 5 days notice is given.

When request is made between 4 days and 73 hours, a credit of 50% of the order value. Rescheduling of the order may be offered at Gertie's Goodies discretion.* 

Gertie’s Goodies will retain full amount paid for cancellations with less than 48 hours notice. 

*Gertie’s Goodies reserves the right to withdraw administration and processing fees from refunds and credit notes. 

 

Notice refers to business days/hours, which we class as Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.



After Pay 

We do not offer refunds for orders placed using After-pay, where applicable with above terms we will offer a credit note. 




Refunds, cancellations or changes to orders must be requested via email to hello@gertiesgoodies.com.au. 

All refunds are at our discretion.
